As a Retail Store Planning & Design professional, I actively made the project-specific scope of work and design decisions based on location-specific requirements and budget guidelines. I ensured project-based quality, schedule, and production objectives were met while managing project documentation, communication, and quality assurance and control related to my assigned specialist role. Furthermore, I meticulously reviewed documents for compliance with store design and planning prototype documents.

In project administration, I assisted in scope development by analyzing existing store conditions, fixture types, and history. I made recommendations relative to the scope of work for remodels and non-prototypical applications. Additionally, I played an integral role in developing and implementing processes, standards, and management tools, including model schedules, change management, prototype development, remodel surveys, quality assurance, quality control, project prioritization, CAD standards, data sheets, and databases.

I also proactively partnered with internal and external teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and communicate changes that may affect production schedules. My skills in Bluebeam, quality reviews, design strategy, client presentation, communication, teamwork, floor plans, and presentations allowed me to excel in my role and contribute positively to the success of each project.

I managed the successful execution of design and strategic initiatives into remodel programs and the existing portfolio of 1800+ locations through management with internal project designers and collaboration with USA partners. Additionally, I completed the design phase of remodeling stores that aligned with corporate brand expectations and jurisdiction design standards while meeting project budgets and timelines.

I onboarded and trained new team members within the Store Planning team and across the Property Development pyramid and transitioned projects from the USA to India by collaborating with business partners in the USA to set goals, timelines, and quality parameters for store designs, project reviews as a part of project management. I set up a project quality audit process for the team while ensuring alignment among leadership and critical stakeholders.
